QC Assistant

- Minimum SPM or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment (experience in the plastic manufacturing industry is an added advantage)
- Basic computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Excel, Word, and general data entry.
- Physically fit and able to stand, bend, and lift moderately heavy boxes as required for packaging duties.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills to handle documentation accurately.
- Able to read and write in basic English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Quality Inspection & Testing
- Execute thorough inspections of all raw materials and WIPs received from sub-contractors to ensure compliance with purchase orders and specifications.
- Conduct specialized testing on recycled materials to determine suitability for production.
- Verify and process the return of goods (ROG) for any identified defects, ensuring clear communication with the production team.
- Take full ownership of the calibration schedule for all measurement tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Reporting & Data Management
- Perform daily data entry into the company’s system with high accuracy.
- Prepare and consolidate weekly and monthly quality reports for management review.
- Establish and maintain an organized physical and digital filing system for all quality-related records.
- ISO Compliance & Support
- Standards Maintenance: Maintain documentation requirements in accordance with ISO 9001 standards to always ensure audit readiness.
- Managerial Support: Provide administrative and operational assistance to the QC Manager on daily tasks and special case-by-case assignments.
- General Duties: Flexibility to undertake additional duties as assigned by the immediate superior to support the department's goals.
