A tech-driven company based in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join their expanding development team. The company is scaling its core platform and is seeking someone experienced in building reliable, high-performance backend systems.
about the job- Design and build scalable Java-based applications and microservices
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Take part in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Improve system performance and implement engineering best practices
- Contribute to architecture discussions and tech stack evolution
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development
- Hands-on with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Kafka
- Strong grasp of object-oriented principles, data structures, and algorithms
- Familiar with Agile practices, Git, and CI/CD workflows
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
