We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant Manager to support and manage day-to-day procurement activities, including supplier coordination and shipment arrangements for our food trading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily purchasing activities, including sourcing, price comparison, and supplier follow-up.
- Prepare and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Coordinate with suppliers and forwarders on shipment and delivery arrangements.
- Review and verify shipment documents (invoice, packing list, BL).
- Monitor stock levels and delivery schedules, and follow up on any delays.
- Resolve supply or shipment-related issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain and update supplier records and purchasing data.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient operation flow.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in purchasing / procurement.
- Experience in supplier coordination and shipment processes is an advantage.
- Able to communicate in Mandarin (to liaise with suppliers).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work alternate Saturdays (half day).
Location: Puchong (Alam Perdana Industrial Park)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, Alternate Saturdays (Half Day)
