WWTP Executive / WWTP Competent Person - Ampang Jaya

Possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Environment / Health / Safety), Science or equivalent.
- Familiar with DOE Act, regulations and requirements.
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a related field, preferably within the food manufacturing or wastewater treatment industry.
- Hands-on experience in managing and operating Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) is highly desirable.
- Good team player and able to work independently.
- Must be a certified Competent Person under CePIETSO PCP/BP, with valid certification recognized by the Department of Environment (DOE).
- Ensure compliance with the Environmental Quality Act 1974, IER 2009 relevant regulations, and local environmental laws.
- In charge of submission report, compliance record, meeting and follow up with management, Department of Environment (DOE), auditor, consultant, supplier etc.
- Conduct Performance Monitoring (PM) issued by Department of Environment (DOE) for every treatment process.
- Control the process and optimize operational factor to achieve final discharge comply with Standard B everyday.
- Send effluent to 3rd party laboratory (external) every week. Analyze the data, filling and documented for review of the auditor, DOE and submit to the Online Environmental Report (OER).monthly.
- To analyze and finding the root cause of any upset condition related to WWTP operation.
- Prepare preventive maintenance to prevent any failure of WWTP component by providing systematic inspection, detection and maintenance.
- To keep record chemical usage of WWTP operation and analyze the consumption.
- Work closely with production team to identify areas for reducing water usage and optimizing wastewater treatment processes.
