Programmer Intern (min 4. months) to join our company NTS Computers Sdn Bhd. Location: Kuala Lumpur, Seri Kembangan.
Who we are
NTS Computers Sdn Bhd is an ICT company offering hardware and software solutions. Our head office is in the Netherlands, Europe.Our customers are both end-users and dealers/brokers. Our end-users are mostly in SME and professionals who use our systems for Animation, Video broadcasting, Cad-Cam, Desktop publishing and normal business usage.We work in a small team of about 6 people.
Products we offer
Our products consist of high end refurbished ICT products like servers, workstations, pc, network equipment and parts from HP/HPE, Nvidia, Intel, Microsoft, Lenovo, Cisco, Arista, Dell and other major brands.
Requirements- In possession of at least a University degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Software development/Software Engineering
- Fluent in English, Malaysia and local language (no expats!)
- Living less then 1 hour and 30 kms from our office in Kuala Lumpur, Seri Kembangan
- Having Malaysian citizenship passport or id card
- Internship should last for at least 4 months
Skills/Qualifications:
- Practical experience with PHP/Javascript/MySQL
- Good knowledge and experience with HTML/CSS
- Experience with DHTMLX/C++ is an added advantage
- Oracle, UML (Unified Modelling Language) and Linux
- Excellent in Malaysian and English language, both oral and written
- Self-confident and a good communicator
- Able to work in a team, result oriented and hard working
- Design and build advanced web based software applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and API
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Have ability to develop cloud software
- Have web development skills
- Contribute to technical design and progress meetings
- Write test versions of program code
- Test installation, security and compatibility issues
- Keep accurate records of the development process, changes and results
- Review test results and fix technical problems (known as bugs)
- Install a full version of the software and carry out quality checks before going ‘live’
- Maintain and support systems once they are up and running.
- We can offer a basic salary of 1,200 MYR per month and travel expanses. Interns who are able to pass the internship a full time employment can be offered.
