Accountabilities:
- Perform structured Cabling & Network System
- Perform UTP & fiber optic patch cord patching activity between network switches and patch panel / fiber panel.
- Perform network switch installation and minor configuration, remote desktop to others engineer and wireless AP installation.
- Identify, track, cable dressing & troubleshoot of UTP & fiber optic patch cord.
- Test every newly installed or relocated cable in accordance with established procedures
- Keep cable neatly tied and bundled while maintaining safety standards.
- Record time and materials used.
- Assist other team members with network equipment.
- Act as the first point of contact for clients with issues concerning their network and cabling equipment.
- Interact with clients via phone, email or teams chats and provide concise written/verbal instructions.
- Resolve issues related to the network matters.
- Prioritize and manage the workflow.
- Keep track of system issues and adhere to the agreed timeline until an issue is resolved.
- Follow standard procedures to resolve issues by connecting them to relevant internal departments.
- Maintain procedural documents and reports.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues using customer input.
- Requirements:
- Experience at least 1 year in site construction environment is preferred.
- Be able to work in various environments including outdoors in varying degrees of weather working at heights, and in small, confined spaces.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and network test gear.
- Familiar with Cisco and others network product.
- - Monitor daily performance of technical systems.
- Follow up with clients / other contractor, ensuring their network systems are functioning properly after troubleshooting.
- Maintain procedural documents and reports.
- Follow standard procedures to resolve issues by connecting them to relevant internal departments.
- Provide prompt, accurate feedback to customers.
