Job Scope:

The Finance Executive will support the finance team in various financial activities, including financial reporting, analysis, and compliance. This role provides an excellent opportunity for career development and learning within a dynamic finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  1. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  2. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  3. Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

Financial Analysis:

  1. Conduct basic financial analysis and provide insights.
  2. Assist in analyzing financial performance and trends.
  3. Support the finance team in making data-driven decisions.

Compliance and Documentation:

  1. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  2. Assist in the preparation of documentation for audits and tax filings.
  3. Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  1. Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
  2. Reconcile accounts and ensure timely collection of receivables.
  3. Assist in managing vendor relationships and payments.

Support Functions:

  1. Provide administrative support to the finance team.
  2. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems.
  3. Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required.

Process Improvement:

  1. Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  2. Assist in implementing efficient and effective financial processes.
  3. Support the team in enhancing internal controls.

Education:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  2. Pursuing or holding a professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.

Experience:

  1. 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, including internships.
  2. Experience in a similar industry is a plus.

Skills:

  1. Basic knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
