about the job
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement and supply chain operations for our large-scale solar projects. You will be responsible for everything from global sourcing and logistics to rigorous budget monitoring and risk mitigation.
- Strategic Sourcing: Spearhead procurement, overseeing sourcing and logistics from international suppliers (including China) to project sites.
- Cost & Budget Management: Rigorously monitor project budgets to ensure cost efficiency, mitigate risks related to overruns, and implement cost-saving initiatives such as forex risk mitigation.
- Supplier Management: Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers and stakeholders to ensure favorable terms and reliable service delivery.
- Education: Minimum a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical preferred), Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven managerial experience in purchasing or procurement, specifically within the high-tech faclities industry.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, excellent negotiation abilities, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
