What you'll do:

As the Regional Category Manager - Logistics, you will play a central role in shaping the future of logistics procurement across a vibrant region. Your day-to-day activities will involve designing forward-thinking sourcing strategies that not only optimise costs but also advance the company’s sustainability agenda.

  • Develop and deploy comprehensive regional sourcing strategies for logistics categories across South East Asia, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Lead strategic supplier management initiatives regionally and globally, fostering long-term partnerships that support business growth and sustainability targets.
  • Influence internal stakeholders—including cross-business units, R&D teams, and other category leads—by building consensus around sourcing decisions and project priorities.
  • Deliver complex regional and global projects specific to logistics categories, ensuring timely execution and measurable impact on cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with technical leads to develop roadmaps for critical projects, including the identification of alternative raw materials to mitigate supply risks.
  • Build and sustain a diverse vendor base by engaging current partners while proactively identifying prospective suppliers who can add value to the organisation.
  • Maintain agility in managing complex regulatory environments across multiple countries while ensuring compliance with all relevant rules and standards.

What you bring:

To excel as Regional Category Manager - Logistics, you will bring a wealth of experience from previous roles where you have managed complex procurement portfolios across multiple geographies.
  • A University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Industrial Engineering or similar field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a strategic sourcing role within manufacturing or related industries.
  • Proven track record in global or regional sourcing roles with demonstrated success in change management and leading strategic projects from inception through completion.
  • Advanced proficiency in strategic sourcing methodologies, category management principles, negotiation techniques, and contract administration processes.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with high numeracy skills; adept at using platforms such as SAP or BI tools for detailed data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience working within international business cultures coupled with an agile approach to problem-solving under minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives while establishing common ground within large organisations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that foster trust-based relationships built on empathy, cooperation, and shared objectives.
