Company Overview
We are representing our client, an industrial equipment distributor in Malaysia, mainly supporting the palm oil, refining, petrochemical, and water/wastewater industries, in their search for a Finance Manager to join their team
Responsibilities:
- Review and finalize Monthly & Quarterly Management Accounts both Malaysia and Indonesia and report to Japan, HQ.
- Monitoring and review of company account to ensure Accounting Standard and company policy are meet.
- Attend to Accounting and Finance enquiry from HQ, Tax Authority, Bank Negara and Government authority.
- Monitoring company cashflow and update treasury report to director in weekly basis.
- Maintaining Fixed Assets Schedule and journalise monthly depreciation in the accounting system.
- Perform checking on all the claims, payment voucher and online payment before getting director approval for payment.
- Monitoring credit control and collections of the company
- Liaise with Bankers and Lawyers for all the matters related to Bank Facility, legal case and professional related matters.
- Liaise with Auditors, Tax Agent and Company Secretary for the matters related to yearly audit of financial report, tax submission and company filing requirement.
- Preparation and journalise monthly payroll, authority payment like EPF, SOCSO, EIS and HRDF Contribution for director approval.
- Apply HRDF grant for staffs training and monitoring the grant balances
- Update new employee's salary package and personal information to Payroll system.
- Attend and processing of new employment application by preparing Appointment Letter, Confirmation Letter and any other HR related letter.
- Review and renew Company and Employees' Insurance in yearly basis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Accounting and Finance with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Analytical, good problem-solving skills, organises and time management
- Reliable, Independent, Helpful and Teamwork
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, audit and statutory compliance
- Good understanding of accounting standards, internal controls and financial processes
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Able to work independently, meet datelines and manage multiple priorities
Job details:
- Permanent employment
- Working hours: Mon-Fri (8.30am-5.30pm)
- Working location : Puchong
