- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts, including agreements with suppliers, banking and financing, customers, and partners.
- Manage and keep records of all corporate secretarial matters, including maintaining corporate books and records, preparing board and shareholder meeting materials, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to renewable energy projects,regulatory requirements, and corporate governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Support the Vice President (Legal) in managing legal matters, including litigation, intellectual property, and corporate transactions.
- Support the Vice President (Legal) in leading deal-focused transactions, including acquisitions and financing transactions.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the renewable energy sector.
- Provide timely and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders to support business objectives while ensuring compliance with legal requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 6–8 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong background in commercial and contract law; experience in international law or cross-border transactions is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
