Key Responsibilities
- Customer Experience & Visitor Engagement
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide information on the gallery, exhibitions, events, and featured products to walk-in visitors.
- Attend to walk-in, telephone, email, and general customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Support visitors with basic product enquiries and purchase assistance where required.
- Ensure the reception and gallery area is clean, presentable, and welcoming always.
- Handle visitor registration, appointment coordination, and related front-of-house records.
- Content & Online Engagement
- Assist in planning and creating simple digital content for social media, including short videos, gallery highlights, product features, and event-related content.
- Support updates on promotions, events, and gallery activities across online platforms.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure content is aligned with brand direction and visual standards.
- Administrative & Operational Support
- Perform data entry, filing, and general administrative duties.
- Support coordination of gallery events, exhibition launches, and promotional activities.
- Assist in product display setup, labelling, and information updates.
- Support sales transaction processing and maintain proper documentation where applicable.
- Assist in inventory tracking for merchandise, brochures, and gallery supplies.
- Maintain accurate operational, stock, and basic transaction records.
- Support preparation of simple reports related to gallery operations and visitor activities.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and general correspondence.
- Coordinate with the Gallery Manager on daily operational and customer-related matters.
- Carry out any other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Gallery Manager or Management from time to time.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, Arts Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service, retail, gallery, or hospitality (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Basic understanding of retail operations.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut).
- Well-organized, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in art, culture, and creative industries is an advantage.
- Able work on WEEKEND, rest day will be on Weekday.
