The Warehouse & Logistics Executive is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and smooth coordination of logistics and distribution activities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accuracy, cost efficiency, and service quality across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Warehouse Operations
- Oversee inbound and outbound warehouse activities (receiving, picking, packing, dispatch).
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of goods to maintain product integrity.
- Implement and maintain warehouse SOPs to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Conduct regular housekeeping and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records in the system.
- Perform stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and periodic stock audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, or losses.
- Order Fulfillment
- Coordinate order processing to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Work closely with e-commerce / sales teams on order prioritization and special requirements.
- Ensure packing standards meet brand and operational requirements.
- Logistics & Distribution
- Liaise with third-party logistics providers, couriers, and transporters.
- Plan and coordinate deliveries to ensure cost-effective and timely distribution.
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues or delays.
- Optimize logistics routes and costs where possible.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
- Prepare regular reports on stock levels, fulfillment performance, and logistics KPIs.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with inventory systems and related platforms.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Experience in e-commerce fulfillment or FMCG industry
- Knowledge of import/export procedures
