Account Assistant - Bukit Mertajam

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience handling full set of accounts.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and taxation (including SST).
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Assist in the preparation of full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and reporting.
- Monitor cash flow, perform bank transactions, and reconcile bank statements.
- Manage and submit e-invoice and other relevant tax submissions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external stakeholders when necessary.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist in any ad-hoc finance tasks or assignments as required.
