Finance Executive - Ampang Jaya

Position Overview

This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of financial operations and teamwork.

• Manage the full set of accounts, with a focus on Accounts Payable and bank reconciliation.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings.
• Supervise cash flow and manage financial risk to ensure sufficient operational funds at all times.
• Assist in data gathering and analysis of financial statements.
• Prepare monthly financial reports.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecast figures.
• Assist in preparing the annual report and audit-related documentation.
• Handle ad hoc assignments and other finance-related tasks as required.
• Maintain and update financial records, documents, and accounting systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including executives and managers, to complete assigned tasks.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned from time to time.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Computer literate with solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with QuickBooks accounting software is an added advantage.
• Sound understanding of bookkeeping and vendor payment processes (Accounts Payable).
• Familiarity with the Malaysian tax system.
• Experience in general ledger accounting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial procedures and business processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to perform under pressure.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site in Kota Damansara.
