Sales Engineer - Ampang Jaya

As a Sales Engineer for Electrical Markets Products at AM Sales & Marketing Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in driving this new business development within the company. This full-time position is based in Kota Damansara, Selangor, and you will be responsible for identifying and converting potential customers into loyal clients.

• Proactively identify and reach out to prospective customers to understand their needs and present tailored solutions specifically catered to medium voltage cable connectors / cable solutions;
• Prepare and deliver high-quality sales proposals and presentations to secure new business;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product specialists and technical experts, to provide comprehensive solutions to customers;
• Maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities and actively manage the sales process from lead generation to contract signing;
• Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company;
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
• Proven experience in a sales engineering or business development role, preferably in the medium voltage cable connectors / cable solutions, jointing systems, cold shrink technology & termination kits;
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and explain complex products and solutions;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different audiences;
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets;
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
