- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is essential to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
- Experience or knowledge of purchase order processing, including creating, tracking, and managing purchase orders.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Familiarity with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedules.
- Follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on time.
- Resolve discrepancies in invoices and purchase orders with suppliers and internal departments.
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts and agreements with suppliers.
- Support the purchasing department with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation.
- Contribute to cost savings initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
