This role focuses on maximizing sales, gross profitability, and growth within designated market segments and territories. Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving ambitious sales and profit targets, consistently striving to exceed expectations.
- Proactively monitoring performance against objectives and taking swift corrective action to resolve any negative variances.
- Fostering strong internal partnerships to ensure the company realizes optimal benefits.
- Strategically managing stock levels to meet market needs while aligning with the company's financial health.
- Identifying and assessing new product introductions, exploring their potential for future market expansion.
- Maintaining rigorous control over trade debts, ensuring timely collection from customers based on agreed credit terms.
- Expanding market reach and penetration, alongside delivering superior customer service, technical support, and after-sales care.
- Providing valuable insights on market conditions, emerging trends, and competitive landscape within your regions.
- Developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing plans for new market segments or territories as directed by leadership.
- Keeping your direct report fully informed on all relevant sales, marketing, and organizational developments.
- Ensuring the accurate and timely submission of weekly sales reports and material forecasts.
- Diploma / Degree Holder in Civil or equivalent field
- Min 5 years sales experience in construction or building industry
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Sales and result driven individual
- Willing to travel within Malaysian
