QC Assistant

Job Summary

The QC Assistant / Intern supports the Quality Control team by conducting product testing, monitoring hygiene and pest control activities, and maintaining accurate records of temperature monitoring to ensure compliance with company quality standards and food safety regulations.

1. QC Testing

• Conduct QC testing for R&D samples and existing products (e.g., Nyolike).
• Follow established SOPs and specifications during testing.
• Record and report test results accurately to the QC Executive.

1. Footbath Dilution Check

• Monitor and verify correct dilution levels of footbath solutions.
• Replace or prepare new solution as required.
• Maintain hygiene compliance at production entrance areas.
• Record all footbath checks for documentation.

1. Pest Control Monitoring

• Monitor pest control activities on a weekly basis.
• Check traps, bait stations, and general pest activity.
• Report any pest issues to QC Executive or Management.
• Maintain proper pest control monitoring records.

1. Temperature Monitoring (Chiller / Freezer)

• Record daily temperatures of chiller and freezer units.
• Ensure temperatures comply with company standards.
• Report any deviations to QC Executive immediately.

1. General Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of QC work areas.
• Assist during internal and external audits as needed.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
• Minimum SPM or equivalent; Diploma in Food Science, Quality Control, or related field is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Eager to learn and adapt to QC processes.
