Senior devops engineer

• Kubernetes Implementation: ○ Architect, deploy, and manage on-premises Kubernetes clusters (e.g., OpenShift, Rancher, or vanilla Kubernetes). ○ Configure cluster networking (Calico, Flannel), storage integrations (NFS, Ceph), and security policies (RBAC, network policies). ○ Automate cluster provisioning and lifecycle management using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or kubeadm.
• Containerization & Orchestration: ○ Package applications into Docker containers and manage container registries (Harbor, Docker Registry). ○ Optimize resource allocation (CPU, memory) and auto-scaling for workloads
• CI/CD Integration: ○ Integrate Kubernetes into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) for seamless deployments. ○ Implement GitOps practices with tools like Argo CD or Flux.
• Monitoring & Logging: ○ Deploy Kubernetes-native monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging (EFK Stack, Loki). ○ Troubleshoot cluster performance and node issues.
• Team Leadership: ○ Mentor junior engineers on Kubernetes, DevOps workflows, and SQL best practices. ○ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business needs.

• Experience: 5+ years in DevOps/Systems Engineering, with 2+ years in Kubernetes on-premises and 3+ years in SQL database management.
• Technical Expertise: ○ Proficiency in Kubernetes cluster management (etcd, control plane, worker nodes). ○ Strong Linux/Windows administration and scripting (Bash, Python). ○ Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools. ○ Knowledge of on-premises storage (SAN/NAS) and networking (VLANs, firewalls). ○ Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, schema design, and stored procedures. ○ Experience with database migration tools and techniques.
• Tools: Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, Docker.
• Able to join immediately.

Qualifications:

• Certifications: CKAD, CKS, or CNCF certifications.
• Experience with service meshes (Istio) or chaos engineering tools.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures (AWS/Azure integration).
• Knowledge of database replication and sharding techniques.
