As an Accounts Payable Officer, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Finance Team functions through supporting the general ledger reconciliation process, and ensuring the accurate and timely recording of expenses, resolution of payment issues, and maintenance of strong and robust internal controls.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Reconciling credit cards, investigating, and processing credit card charges, and working collaboratively with credit card holders to rectify or understand any transactions that need further information.
- Follow up any missing receipts or invoices and obtaining declarations where necessary.
- Check asset purchase paperwork and follow up on any missing documentation.
- Process Accounts Payable invoices.
- Support and maintain reconciliation of the general ledger through conducting accuracy checks, investigating discrepancies and preparing adjusting journal entries.
- Manage supplier reconciliation.
- At least 2 years of working experience in Accounts Payable scope.
- Experience in accounting to trial balance and reconciliation procedures.
- Experience with multi-user integrated accounting systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Excel, VLOOKUP experience is required.
- Experience in SAP & Power BI would be of great advantage to this position.
- High proficiency in data entry, keyboard skills, detailed oriented.
- Excellent written & verbal English Language communication skills.
