The Automation Project Senior Engineer is responsible for leading and managing automation projects from inception to completion. This role combines technical expertise with project management skills to deliver innovative automation solutions that meet company needs and enhance operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities- Lead and manage automation projects from planning to execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and objectives.
- Communicate with authorize vendors on the user needs and company’s requirement.
- Develop detailed project plans and timelines.
- Allocate resources and manage project budgets.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments.
- Implement automation solutions and integrate with existing systems.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
- Conduct project evaluations and generate performance reports.
- Follow up and coordinate formalities involving other departments such as procurement parts list etc post project implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the automation industry.
- Strong understanding of automation systems and technologies.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
