Experience:

• Candidates must possess at least Diploma
• Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Experience with IPC-A-610 standards and operating AOI machines.
• Hands-on experience with PCBA rework.
• Familiarity with EMS storage and MSL requirements.
• Experience with SMT pick-and-place machines.

Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of electronic components and PCB assembly.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of component placement criteria and handling.

• Operate the Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine to check for defects on PCBs.
• Analyse the results and fix any issues detected
• Perform regular inspections to ensure products meet the required quality.
• Keep up with any changes to the IPC-A-610 standard and apply them during production.
• Follow the correct rework procedures to fix any problems with the PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly).
• Safely remove and replace parts as needed, following industry standards.
• Record any issues and suggest improvements to the rework process.
• Follow Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) guidelines to prevent damage to sensitive components.
• Keep track of inventory and ensure the right materials are available when needed.
• Operate the SMT pick-and-place machine to correctly place components on PCBs. Make sure the correct components are used for each job and are placed in the right position. Understand the size, type, and orientation of components to avoid errors during placement.
