• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Food & Beverage Services Management, Culinary or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. Additional dialects are highly preferred to support training sessions.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in Beverage Innovation, Barista Training, Mixology is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Taman Mayang, Petaling Jaya.
• Applicants must be willing to travel for work.

Job Description - Beverage Mixologist (R&D)

You will be responsible for beverage concept creation, product testing, and recipe standardization to support menu expansion and seasonal campaigns.

• Develop and innovate beverage concepts to support menu growth and seasonal launches.
• Standardize recipes to ensure consistency in preparation, taste, and visual appeal.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align beverage R&D with business and branding objectives.
• Stay ahead of market trends and customer preferences to ensure our beverages remain relevant and desirable.

• Research, test, and formulate new beverage recipes (e.g. coolers, teas, fruit blends, Signature drinks).
• Ensure recipe scalability, cost-efficiency, and consistency across all outlets or production lines.
• Work with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, R&D, and outlet staff on launches and training.
• Source and test ingredients for optimal flavor, texture, and shelf life.
• Create and maintain product documentation (recipe sheets, SOPs, costing).
• Support training programs for outlet or café teams on preparation, handling, and presentation.
• Provide input on promotional beverage ideas and assist with styling for product shoots or campaigns.
• Monitor and evaluate product performance and customer feedback for ongoing refinement.

• Certification in barista training, beverage development, or F&B handling from recognized institutions is required.
• Strong creativity with a solid understanding of ingredient pairing and drink balancing.
• Excellent organization and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
