Job Description:
We are looking for a driven and resourceful Special Projects Intern to assist the Group Managing Director (GMD) in various engineering-related and executive functions. This role is ideal for engineering students who are eager to gain exposure not only to technical aspects of the business but also to leadership, corporate operations, and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Engineering & GMD's Office Support:
- Assist in research, documentation, and coordination of engineering or automation-related projects.
- Support the GMD in general work matters, proposals, technical documents, or client requirements where needed.
- Provide insights or feedback on technical presentations and materials.
Special Projects & Executive Assistance:
- Provide direct support to the GMD on ad hoc or strategic initiatives across departments.
- Prepare briefing notes, reports, or presentations for internal or external meetings.
- Help manage the GMD’s schedule, communications, and documentation related to key decisions.
Administrative & Business Organization:
- Create and maintain an organized database of business contacts, clients, and key connections.
- Ensure the list is regularly updated with accurate details and segmented by relevance or sector.
Social Media & Branding:
- Assist in planning and scheduling LinkedIn posts to highlight company achievements, milestones, and branding.
- Coordinate with internal teams for visuals and captions that align with the company’s voice and image.
General Support:
- Carry out any other duties as required by the GMD, including administrative tasks, coordination work, and inter-departmental follow-ups.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Tech-savvy, with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms (especially LinkedIn).
- Responsible, proactive, and able to handle confidential information professionally.
- Interest in leadership, business strategy, and corporate management is a plus.
