Financial Controller
MSM Kitchen Sdn Bhd Balakong Full-time
Candidate must possess a Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting or a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/MICPA/CIMA), along with a government-recognized professional body.
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
- Demonstrate experience in operational finance and finance business partnerships to drive strategic decision-making.
- Showcase strong analytical and planning skills, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities and sound financial judgment.
- Display initiative, self-motivation and the willingness to work independently, even during extended hours when necessary.
- Immediate available is highly preferred.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations while maintaining a deep understanding of key business drivers to provide clear, insightful analysis of business and financial performance.
- Manage the full range of finance duties, including banking & treasury, accounting & reporting, financial planning & analysis and cash flow management across all group companies.
- Initiate, direct and coordinate the preparation of group financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly consolidations.
- Implement and maintain robust accounting systems, internal controls and working procedures for the entire group of companies.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and other statutory bodies to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Lead the preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee timely and accurate completion of all relevant statutory reporting to maintain good corporate governance.
- Evaluate and interpret the organization's financial and business performance, offering recommendations to management on a monthly basis.
- Provide analytical reports comparing actual performance against budgets monthly.
- Ensure effective management of payables, receivables and cash balances.
- Provide expertise to senior management on business and operational matters, leading special projects as required.
- Any ad-hoc tasks as required by management from time to time.
