Account Executive

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience; experience in construction/engineering/project-based companies is an advantage.
- Able to handle full set of accounts independently.
- Familiar with accounting software such as AutoCount and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Must be proficient in Chinese, as the role requires regular communication with Mandarin-speaking management.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong analytical skills, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Handle full set of accounts for the company and ensure timely monthly closing.
- Manage project accounting, including project cost tracking, subcontractor payments, progress billing, and budget monitoring.
- Prepare financial reports, management reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary for statutory and audit matters.
- Ensure compliance with LHDN, SST, Companies Act 2016, and other statutory requirements.
- Assist management in financial planning, budgeting, and ad-hoc analysis.
- Review and process invoices, payment vouchers, and financial documents.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.
