Basic Salary: RM1,800 – RM2,400
Working Hours: 8.00am – 6.00pm (Monday – Friday)

As an Associate Technician (Calibration & Maintenance) within our equipment team, you will play a key role in ensuring that all manufacturing equipment and processes are precise, validated, and production-ready.
This position is ideal for a hands-on, technically inclined individual who values accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Calibration & Equipment Reliability- Perform dimensional and visual inspections on validation samples using calibrated tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Maintain calibration schedules, records, and traceability in accordance with GMP and Quality Management System requirements.
- Identify and resolve calibration discrepancies; escalate issues promptly to prevent production impact.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure all measurement systems meet specification requirements.
- Monitor and maintain spare part inventory to support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with the maintenance and engineering teams to identify and stock critical spare parts.
- Perform regular inventory cycle counts and update data in SAP or CMMS systems.
- Ensure spare parts are stored and managed according to 5S and compliance standards.
- Support the setup, qualification, and validation of new equipment and tooling for NPI readiness.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities to enhance calibration efficiency and equipment uptime.
- Participate in problem-solving initiatives to improve accuracy and reduce downtime.
- Execute all work in compliance with GMP, Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards.
- Ensure safe handling and registration of chemicals used in maintenance and calibration processes.
- Participate actively in 5S and continuous improvement activities in the workshop area.
- Collaborate closely with Safety, Quality, Facilities, and Production teams.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Calibration Accuracy & Compliance- 100% on-time completion of scheduled calibrations.
- Zero overdue or missed calibration events.
- No audit non-conformances related to calibration records.
- All validation equipment calibrated and qualified prior to build start.
- Timely support and feedback to engineering and quality teams.
- Preventive maintenance completion rate ≥ 95%.
- Zero production delays due to unavailable critical spares.
- Inventory accuracy ≥ 98% during cycle counts.
- Positive feedback from cross-functional teams.
- Minimum of two implemented improvement initiatives annually.
Requirements
Education:
- Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or related technical field.
Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in calibration, equipment maintenance, or metrology is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of measurement tools and calibration techniques.
- Familiarity with SAP, Excel, or CMMS systems.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
