Part Time Lecturer - Media and Communication (Foundation)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Undertake teaching and teaching-related duties such as design, preparation, and development of teaching materials; conduct classes/lectures, tutorials, and practicals; consultation with students, invigilation, marking, and assessment
• Establish and maintain high standards of teaching and effective learning to meet the College's teaching and learning expectations

• Participate in administrative activities related to teaching & learning, and examination-related matters
• Contribute to student enrichment activities and school committees as and when required

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Media and Communication or relevant field from a recognized University. Master’s degree applicants are preferred.
• Preferred areas of teaching and research expertise in Mass Communication areas such as Broadcasting, Advertising, and Public Relations
• Experience working in the higher education environment and a track record of teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development or good record of professional experience with evidence of coaching and mentoring and high quality of presentation skills
• Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of IT technologies in the facilitation of teaching and learning. Able to use software blended in the teaching is preferred.
