Our client is currently looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) cum Business Analyst (BA) to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role requires a detail-oriented individual who can bridge business needs with system functionalities while ensuring software quality and reliability.
Responsibilities- Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Translate these requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Requirement Study for Client and System in Manufacturing Execution System (MES): Conduct in-depth requirement analysis for clients and system functionalities within MES to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing business processes and propose enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Software Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure software quality and adherence to business requirements.
- Test Case Development: Create comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test data for manual and automated testing.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to resolve them.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with stakeholders to validate system functionality.
- System Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation, including requirements, test cases, and user manuals.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure successful project execution.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize BI tools to analyze data and generate insights that support business decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a combined QA and BA role or relevant experience in both fields.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into system functionalities.
- Experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Knowledge of ERP or enterprise systems is a plus.
- Experience in requirement study for client and system functionalities within MES.
- Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
