Intermediate Accountant

This is a full-time on-site role for an Intermediate Accountant located in Petaling Jaya. The Intermediate Accountant will be responsible for:

• Manage the end-to-end processing of invoices and payments
• Oversee both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Perform bookkeeping and payroll tasks
• Compile end-of-month reconciliations and adjustments
• Prepare Trial Balances, Financial Statements, and Company/Trust Tax Returns
• Handle the preparation of Individual Income Tax Returns
• Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports
• Collaborate with Managers and Directors on a range of financial matters

• Solid accounting abilities encompassing financial record keeping
• Background in account reconciliation, payroll administration, and tax submission
• Strong analytical capabilities to assist with financial analysis and reporting
• Proficient in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional focus on detail and precision
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline
• Relevant professional qualifications or studying towards (CA or equivalent) are advantageous
• Experience in a comparable accounting position is desirable
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting-related field
• Proficient in both written and spoken English
