Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or related field.
  • Familiar with LinkedIn and other related hiring platform (eg Jobstreet ) .
Basic knowledge of the Employment Act 1955 is an added advantage.
  • Exposure to payroll software is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Good command of English and Mandarin (due to business communication needs).
  • Detail-oriented, responsible and willing to learn.
  • Able to work independently with guidance.
Key Responsibilities
 A.  Payroll & Statutory Support
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll.
  • Support statutory submissions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and HRD within required timelines.
  • Verify payroll components such as allowances, overtime, claims and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll records and prepare basic payroll reports.
 B.  Recruitment
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, talent sourcing, screening, interview arrangements, and offer coordination.
  • Work closely with department managers to understand manpower requirements and develop job descriptions and specifications.
  • Source potential candidates through online platforms such as LinkedIn, JobStreet, Indeed, and other social media channels.
  • Maintain and update the recruitment database, reports, and candidate talent pool regularly.
  • Prepare offer letters for selected candidates and assist with onboarding formalities.
  • Participate in recruitment-related projects such as career fairs and salary market surveys.
  • Maintain, update, and review HR documents to ensure accurate and complete records.

 C.  Onboarding & Offboarding

Onboarding
  • Coordinate preparation of laptops, system access and work tools prior to employee’s first day.
  • Assist in conducting new joiner orientation and introduction to company policies.
  • Ensure all onboarding documents are completed and properly filed.
Offboarding
  • Prepare resignation acknowledgement letters and related documentation.
  • Ensure completion of Employee Exit Checklist and proper documentation filing.
 D.  Employee Engagement
  • Support the organization of employee engagement activities such as birthday celebrations and festive events (Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Christmas).
  • Assist in coordinating company events and internal activities.
 E.  HR Administration & Documentation
  • Draft basic HR correspondences and internal announcements when required.
  • Update and maintain employee records, HR documentation and filing system.
  • Assist in maintaining HR SOPs and Employee Handbook.
  • Provide general HR administrative support and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
