Internship Early Childhood Education Internship

As an Assistant Teacher Intern, you will play an active role in our classrooms. Your responsibilities will be diverse and impactful, including:

• Assisting lead teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering creative and engaging lessons aligned with.
• Supporting small group activities and providing individualized attention to help students achieve their learning milestones.
• Helping to create a stimulating and safe classroom environment, including preparing learning materials and vibrant displays.
• Actively supervising and engaging with children during lessons, playtime, and daily routines to ensure their well-being and active participation.
• Observing children's progress and assisting with simple documentation under the guidance of the lead teacher.
• Collaborating with our teaching team and participating in school activities and meetings where appropriate. *(We ensure that administrative tasks are kept to a minimum, allowing you to focus on learning and teaching! )
• You are currently enrolled in a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree program in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, TESL, Psychology, or a related field in Malaysia.
• Essential Skills & Qualities:
• A genuine passion for working with young children and a deep interest in their development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to connect warmly with children, colleagues, and potentially parents.
• Patience, creativity, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• A proactive approach, willingness to learn, take initiative, and embrace feedback.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom setting.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bonus Points (Desired, but not essential):
• Previous volunteer or work experience with children.
• Basic digital literacy and an interest in using technology in education.
