This is a fantastic growth opportunity for a motivated and curious developer who is eager to build their skills across the entire technology stack. As a Junior Full-Stack Developer, you will work directly with our senior engineering lead to implement new features, fix bugs, and contribute to both our frontend and backend codebases.
You will be a core part of a small, agile team, and your work will have a direct impact on our product and our users in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Feature Development: Implement new user-facing features in our Vue.js frontend application.
- API Development: Build and maintain RESTful API endpoints and business logic in our NestJS backend.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the senior engineer to understand requirements, solve problems, and participate in code reviews.
- Bug Fixes & Maintenance: Help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the full stack.
- Learning & Growth: Actively learn about our cloud architecture (AWS), deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions), and software development best practices.
- 1-3 years of professional or internship experience in web development.
- A solid foundation in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with a frontend framework Vue.js.
- Experience with a Node.js backend framework (e.g., NestJS).
- Familiarity with version control using Git and platforms like GitHub.
- A strong desire to learn, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for building great software.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or another SQL database.
- Exposure to Docker or the basic concepts of containerization.
- An interest in learning about AWS and cloud technologies.
- A portfolio of personal projects (e.g., a GitHub profile) that you can share.
