Degree/Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in the convertor manufacturing industry, preferablyin an electrical part enviroment
- Proven experience supervising QA, QC, R&D, Maintenance, and Store teams
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Able to lead a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing operation
- Production Management
- Oversee daily factory operations to meet production targets and ensure product quality and delivery timelines
- Monitor and optimize output, manpower efficiency, machine utilization, and production KPIs
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, customer requirement and material control at all times
- QA/QC Supervision
- Lead QA (Quality Assurance) and QC (Quality Control) teams to uphold product quality, and regulatory with ISO 14001 & 9001 compliance.
- Review quality data, handle customer complaints, and implement corrective/preventive actions
- R&D Coordination
- Lead R&D team to coordinate product trials, and new product introductions
- Ensure alignment between R&D concepts and production feasibility
- Provide feedback on manufacturability and cost control during development
- Maintenance & Engineering
- Oversee the Maintenance team, ensuring all production equipment is well-maintained and reliable
- Plan and track preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and repair costs
- Lead continuous improvement projects (automation, layout efficiency, equipment upgrades)
- Store & Inventory
- Supervise Store/Warehouse operations, ensuring proper inventory control, and timely material availability
- Coordinate with purchasing and production to avoid material shortages or overstocking
- Ensure safety and proper storage conditions in line with ISO standards
- Production Planning & Cost Control
- Develop accurate and achievable production schedules
- Monitor material usage, wastage, labor cost, and utilities to ensure cost-effective operations
- Implement lean practices to increase efficiency and reduce overhead
- Leadership & People Management
- Manage, coach, and evaluate staff performance across all supervised departments
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration and a strong team culture
- Conduct regular departmental meetings, reporting to top management on performance and improvement plans
