About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Manager, you will oversee a field service team responsible for the efficient and safe maintenance of clients or locations.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

• Provide strategic direction and operational leadership maintenance teams.
• Guide, develop, and motivate team members to maintain a high-performance and collaborative work environment.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Plan and allocate departmental resources effectively to achieve operational goals.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations including facilities and maintenance.
• Plan, supervise, and manage preventive and corrective maintenance for all mechanical and electrical systems.
• Conduct facility audits, inspections, and workplace accident investigations; prepare and submit incident reports as required.
• Support in tendering and contract evaluation for facilities related.
• Assist in sustainability initiatives (e.g., energy-saving programs, waste reduction efforts).
• Maintain an asset register for all equipment and facilities-related infrastructure, ensuring lifecycle tracking and planned replacement.
• Supervise a team of engineers and technicians to implement preventive, predictive, and planned maintenance programs according to contract requirements.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, monitor feedback, and drive continuous improvements to enhance the client experience.
• Provide regular updates to clients and management on project progress, timelines, milestones, and any arising issues.
• To execute any other function assigned by the HOD as required.

• Liaise with vendors, service providers, contractors, and government authorities for facilities services and statutory compliance.
• Ensure full compliance with building safety regulations, and relevant Malaysian laws.
• Coordinate internal and external audits related to building compliance, safety, or principal standards.

• Monitor and control departmental operating expenses, including repair costs, warehouse overheads, and third-party services.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
