This position requires a highly skilled and data-oriented Preform Injection Molding Machine Engineer to oversee the operation, optimization, and maintenance of PET preform injection molding machines. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge to ensure high productivity, quality, and machine uptime.
key responsibilities- Machine Operation & Optimization: Set up, operate, and optimize PET preform injection molding machines (e.g., Husky, Huayan, Netstal, Sipa). Monitor and adjust process parameters to ensure consistent product quality and minimal scrap.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Troubleshoot machine and mold issues, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machines and support equipment.
- Collaboration & Improvement: Collaborate with Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives such as OEE improvement, cycle time reduction, and energy savings.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, maintenance activities, and production reports. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards, including ISO and GMP guidelines.
- Training & Mentorship: Train and support machine operators and junior technicians in daily operations and safety practices.
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Polymer, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in injection molding, preferably with PET preform machines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Possess management skills in decision-making and leading a team.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work in shifts or onsite whenever necessary
