Account Assistant

Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
- Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk.
- Knowledge of basic book keeping procedures.
- Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, MS Excel.
- Exceptional time management, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- Providing support to the Accounting Department.
- Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
- Handling communications with clients via phone and email.
- Maintaining the billing system and generating account statements.
- Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries.
- Processing transactions, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
- Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
