• Develop backend systems using PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter)
• Customise and maintain WordPress and/or Drupal CMS beyond basic themes
• Design and optimise MySQL databases and backend architecture
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
• Identify and resolve backend issues, including performance and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on project requirements
• Stay current with backend development best practices and emerging tools

• Position Level: Mid to Senior
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Language: Strong English communication skills

Technical Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of backend development experience in PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter)
• Hands-on experience with WordPress and/or Drupal—beyond templating
• Solid understanding of MySQL (schema design, query optimisation)
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services
• Familiarity with Git, secure coding practices, and deployment processes
• Bonus: Knowledge in cloud hosting or server management (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean)
