Native-level fluency in Bahasa Melayu and proficiency in English

• Minimum 2 years of professional translation and/or content adaptation experience
• Strong background in financial services or marketing content
• Experience with SEO principles and online content localisation
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to adapt style and tone based on the type of content and target audience
• Proficient in TMS translation tools and software
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects
• A strong portfolio showcasing published articles and short contents on social media.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Effective communication skills.
• Create high-quality, engaging content from English into Bahasa Melayu, tailored to various audiences and platforms
• Translate, localise, and creatively adapt content for the Company’s multiple websites, mobile apps, landing pages, client communications, social media, paid ads, financial articles and marketing materials. Ensure cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy across all Bahasa Melayu content
• Develop content for articles, product descriptions, social media, and review content on the company’s website.
• Directly collaborate with the Content Marketing Localisation team on daily assignments received, as well as with the regional Malaysian designated Senior Translator / Local Marketing team to ensure the quality delivered
• Meet daily deadlines and manage multiple translation, localisation, and proofreading assignments simultaneously
• Conduct terminology management and maintain translation quality standards
• Conduct regular research on financial terminology, cultural nuances, and market trends to ensure local relevance
• Conduct regular tentative checks on our websites, landing pages, and members areas and report any inconsistencies
• Research and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer data to inform content strategy and optimise performance
• Assist the marketing team in devising content plans for various campaigns.
• Conduct keyword research to drive traffic to the company website.
• Craft compelling headlines and body copy to captivate target audiences across various social media channels.
