Internship IT Intern

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the TSS team with day-to-day IT support tasks, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Support the onboarding and offboarding process for employees (e.g., setting up laptops, accounts, email access).
• Maintain inventory records for IT equipment and update asset management logs.
• Install, configure, and update operating systems, software applications, and security tools.
• Perform routine checks on IT systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in documenting IT support processes and creating user guides or FAQs.
• Support the team in coordinating and executing minor IT projects or upgrades.
• Provide basic technical assistance to users and escalate complex issues to senior staff.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (On-site support required)

Allowance: Monthly internship allowance provided.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in IT support, systems administration, and technical troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
