Database Senior Engineer (Oracle)

Manage and maintain Oracle databases in production and non-production environments
- Perform database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
- Monitor database performance and carry out performance tuning and optimization
- Handle backup and recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and availability
- Conduct health checks and support Disaster Recovery (DR) planning & validation
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolution
- Support middleware clustering environments and ensure system stability
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support business requirements
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and reports
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle database administration
- Strong understanding of platform administration
- Experience in middleware clustering
- Expertise in Oracle database installation, configuration & upgrade
- Performance tuning & troubleshooting
- Healthcheck & DR validation
- Experience in database backup & recovery
- Strong stakeholder coordination
- Fluent in English communication. Bahasa Melayu is added advantage.
- Good in technical documentation writing.
