Role Overview

The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily shop operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring smooth coordination between the production house and retail outlet. This role requires a hands-on leader who can handle both administrative duties and physical logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Logistics & Transport
  • Drive company vehicle to transport supplies/products between production house and shop (approx. 5 minutes distance)
  • Ensure proper handling during loading and unloading to maintain product quality
  1. Inventory & Stock Management
  • Perform daily stock checks before operations
  • Manage inventory levels (ingredients & supplies)
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with records
  • Forecast stock needs and coordinate replenishment with production house
  1. Operational Supervision
  • Oversee daily shop operations for smooth service and customer satisfaction
  • Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff
  • Prepare and manage staff schedules (especially for peak hours)
  • Ensure compliance with recipes, food quality, and presentation standards
  1. Administrative & Reporting
  • Prepare daily reports (sales summary, operational issues)
  • Report maintenance issues and staff performance to Head of Operations
  • Assist in onboarding and training new staff
