Head of Finance / Senior Finance Manager

Astra Baby Sdn. Bhd. (Astra Family) We are looking for a forward-thinking Head of Finance to lead and strengthen our financial operations. This is a strategic leadership role for someone who brings not just accounting skills but strong financial planning, cash flow management, and business foresight to the table.

As our Head of Finance, your core responsibilities will include:

• Leading the company’s financial planning and budgeting, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Managing and optimizing cash flow, forecasting, and working capital to support daily operations and future growth.
• Driving financial strategy and risk management to support decision-making at the leadership level.
• Overseeing monthly closings, reporting, tax planning, and audit processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborating directly with the CEO and department heads to ensure financial accountability across the organization.
• Improving current accounting and finance systems, introducing financial controls, and automating where possible.
• Leading and mentoring the finance team, upgrading overall department capabilities.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/ACCA/MIA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 6–8 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Proven track record in cash flow management, financial forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to work across teams and influence stakeholders.
• Hands-on, analytical, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to build systems from the ground up.
• Experience in retail, distribution, FMCG, or fast-growth companies is a bonus.
