Assistant Manufacturing Engineering Manager

• Diploma or Degree in:
• Mechanical Engineering
• Manufacturing Engineering
• Automotive Engineering

• 3–7 years experience in:
• manufacturing / machining / automotive parts production
• supplier or factory coordination

• machining processes and tolerances
• material selection (especially aluminium alloys)
• production workflows
• Ability to:
• read and interpret technical drawings
• evaluate product samples and identify defects

• Familiarity with:
• motorcycle components (suspension, braking, wheels)
• performance or aftermarket products
• Basic understanding of:
• product performance characteristics and tuning considerations
• common failure modes in mechanical systems

• Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail
• Able to communicate effectively with overseas suppliers
• Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to travel for factory visits when required

1. Product Industrialisation & Development

• Translate product concepts into production-ready specifications
• Review and refine technical drawings, tolerances, and material selections
• Ensure designs are practical, scalable, and consistent in production
• Support the development of new product lines across suspension, rims, and braking systems

1. Supplier & Factory Coordination

• Liaise with overseas suppliers (primarily China) on production, timelines, and technical matters
• Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time delivery
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and propose corrective actions
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and maintain quality standards

1. Sample Evaluation & Quality Control

• Review and approve product samples prior to mass production
• Define and implement QC checkpoints across production stages
• Investigate product defects and lead root cause analysis
• Work closely with suppliers to improve product consistency and reduce defects

1. Product Performance & Technical Feedback

• Translate user and dealer feedback into technical improvements
• Support refinement of product specifications to meet market performance expectations
• Collaborate with technical partners and testing environments to validate product performance

1. Service & After-Sales Support Systems

• Develop and maintain service procedures and technical guidelines for key product categories
• Standardise inspection, maintenance, and servicing workflows
• Support training and documentation for service partners and dealers

1. Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain product documentation including:
• specifications
• QC standards
• revision history
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce waste

1. Factory Visits & Technical Alignment

• Travel periodically to supplier facilities for:
• production reviews
• quality audits
• technical alignment
