Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Able to speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist or similar role.
- Technologically savvy.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Great communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with payroll software and HR systems.
- Prefer to know payroll software like Worksy; Employment Hero; Swingvy; Justlogin & Payroll Panda
- Review and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Match and reconcile supporting documents discrepancies.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain vendor relationships and address inquiries and issues.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes with internal team.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate reports and assist in financial analysis.
- Collect and review timesheets and attendance records.
- Calculate and process employee wages, bonuses, and deductions.
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of calculation of payroll according to client’s requirements.
- Ensure accurate statutory deductions and compliance with the laws.
- Maintain payroll records and prepare reports for management.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
- Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations and best practices.
