Maintenance Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum three (3) years of working experience in a related field.
- Good organisational and communication skills, with computer literacy.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills, with sound knowledge of project management and project costing.
- Manage and maintain all electrical and mechanical building services systems, including HVAC, air-conditioning, ventilation, pumps, plumbing-related mechanical systems, power distribution, switchboards, generators, UPS, lighting systems, and associated equipment.
- Oversee the operation of electrical and mechanical plants and installations to ensure uninterrupted, safe, and efficient building operations.
- Manage and monitor electrical and mechanical repair, corrective, and improvement works to ensure compliance with approved specifications, timelines, safety requirements, and service quality standards.
- Manage, supervise, and assess the performance of electrical and mechanical maintenance contractors and service providers.
- Plan, schedule, and manage Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities in accordance with contract requirements, statutory obligations, and approved maintenance schedules.
- Evaluate and manage electrical and mechanical service contractors for routine maintenance, corrective works, testing, commissioning, and improvement projects.
- Provide technical input and support for budgeting, cost control, and planning of electrical and mechanical maintenance, replacement, upgrading, and improvement works.
- Identify, analyse, and resolve electrical and mechanical system faults, breakdowns, and performance issues, and propose effective corrective and preventive measures.
- Maintain and update the asset register for all electrical and mechanical systems and equipment under maintenance.
- Maintain, review, and update electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, manuals, operating procedures, and related technical documentation where required.
