What you'll do:
As Head of IT Knowledge Management, you will play an essential part in shaping how technology-related information is captured, structured, shared, and utilised across the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve designing strategic roadmaps for knowledge management excellence while collaborating with various departments to align these efforts with wider business goals.You will oversee the implementation of robust frameworks that facilitate seamless information flow—ensuring that every team member has access to accurate resources when needed. By promoting best practices in content creation, categorisation, tagging, and usage analytics, you will help foster an environment where learning is continuous and process improvements are celebrated.

- Ensure that all knowledge technologies are current, fully functional, and used appropriately while safeguarding against misuse of company infrastructure.
- Control accessibility and flow of information within the organisation as well as to external parties to maintain data integrity and security.
- Capture new insights by leveraging advanced knowledge bases and ensure their effective use for incident resolution, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation.
- Monitor progress using analytics to assess engagement, functionality, effectiveness, and overall impact of the knowledge management strategy.

- A minimum of five years’ hands-on experience with knowledge management tools such as Confluence, Jira, SharePoint or similar platforms ensures you are adept at structuring information effectively.
- Proven track record in application or infrastructure domain knowledge equips you with practical insight into both delivery and support processes within banking or financial institutions’ technology landscapes.
- Demonstrated ability to write technical content—including articles for incident/problem resolution or standard operating procedures—enables you to communicate complex concepts clearly across diverse audiences.
- Experience measuring effectiveness of knowledge initiatives using analytics allows you to identify areas for improvement while increasing engagement metrics.
- Familiarity with metadata usage for search engine optimisation or social media integration enhances discoverability of critical information assets within the organisation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills combined with collaborative communication style empower you to build trust-based relationships across multiple teams.
