POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

B.Eng. / B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.

Min 5 years in BD mainly dealing with Main Contractors / Developers

Proven tender success with main contractors / developers.

Must be very proficient in English, prefer to either able to speak Mandarin / Cantonese

Must have experience dealing with Main Contractors

Prefer to have Civil Engineering Background, open to other Engineering backgrounds as well

  1. POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is the company’s lead revenue driver. With a strong engineering or construction background, the BDM identifies, prices, wins, and grows revenue—mainly with Tier‑1 & Tier‑2 main contractors—while guiding BD team to surpass sales and margin goals.

The BDM maintains relationships to keep opportunities open and pipelines active.

  1. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Revenue Growth – Set and achieve quarterly/annual revenue and margin targets.

Client Development – Identify key main contractors and developers. Build long-term relationships regardless of tender outcomes and ensure client retention.

Opportunity Generation – Carry out quality outbound activities daily.

Tender Management – Lead tender reviews, scope clarification, and final pricing decisions.

Pricing & Margin Control – Oversee cost build-ups and markups.

CRM & Pipeline – Ensure CRM is updated & Maintain accurate pipeline staging.

Reporting – Submit forecasts and activity reports to management, and proactively decide on actions or strategies needed to meet or exceed targets.

Team Development – Coach BD team in prospecting, pricing discipline, and CRM habits. Share market feedback with operations.
