Possess a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or a related technical field.
- Demonstrate a foundational understanding of HVAC systems and principles.
- Ability to use basic diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and repair procedures.
- Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an onsite environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Assist senior technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems according to company standards and safety procedures.
- Perform basic diagnostic tests on equipment to identify malfunctions and report findings to the lead technician.
- Conduct routine checks and preventative maintenance on various HVAC components, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Learn and apply troubleshooting techniques for electrical and mechanical issues within HVAC systems.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used, utilizing company documentation systems.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while working on job sites and in the workshop.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding system operation and basic troubleshooting steps when required.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of Daikin products and services.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
